Meet the 2021 AIA Trust Chair

Anne Marie Duvall Decker, FAIA, has become the 2021 AIA Trust Chair. Together with her partner, Roy Decker, FAIA, she founded Duvall Decker in Jackson, Mississippi, a firm that is a recognized for design excellence.

Duvall Decker  is currently completing the Springdale Arkansas Municipal Complex, a Walton Family Foundation Design Excellence project and the New U.S. Courthouse in Greenville, Mississippi, a GSA Design Excellence project.

Anne Marie is dedicated to working collaboratively within the architectural studio and beyond, with her architectural experience ranging from community planning, K-12 schools, state institutions, university buildings and affordable housing. Anne Marie is widely recognized and respected as a contributor to the advancement of the architecture profession and is often invited to share her expertise as a lecturer, teacher, design jury chair and published author.

The AIA Trust is honored to have Anne Marie as the 2021 Chair and foresees great things in the year ahead.
