Firm Information

Metcalf & Spitler, LLP is a full service construction law firm tailored to respond to the unique legal challenges of its construction industry clients. With more than 40 years of combined experience representing all sides of construction disputes, its attorneys are uniquely qualified to deliver big-law results with the attention, service and efficiencies only a boutique law firm can provide. Design and construction defects reduce the value of properties and threaten the health and safety of their occupants. Owners, architects, builders, subcontractors and their insurance companies all likely differ as to what constitutes a design or construction defect and who is responsible. Professional liability claims in particular, can involve a wide range of issues, including design defects, inadequate project supervision, and negligent design, engineering and inspection. We understand that a design professional’s reputation is its most important asset. Our goal, when representing design professional clients is to reach the most favorable outcome as quickly and efficiently as possible so the client can return its full attention to running its business and serving its clients.
