Firm Information

Founded by William R. Allensworth in 1995, Allensworth & Porter, LLP is one of the leading construction law firms in Texas. Our mission is to provide cost-effective legal services to the construction industry, from the negotiation and drafting of contracts to the mediation, litigation, and arbitration of construction disputes. In fulfilling that mission, we have grown to be one of the largest Austin-based construction law firms, representing clients throughout the State of Texas.

Our clients include some of the oldest and largest architectural and engineering firms in Austin, as well as some of the youngest and smallest firms. Members of our firm have been active in architectural organizations, including board service on the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Our firm demonstrates an active role in the future of the construction trade by regularly writing amicus briefs for the Texas Society of Architects and the Texas Council of Engineering Companies [now the American Council of Engineering Companies of Texas] on matters of industry importance.
