Boyce Law Firm has an experienced group of lawyers who know how to handle the legal issues facing design professionals. Our lawyers have represented design professionals in all types of construction litigation (mediation, arbitration, trials, appeals), contract negotiations and disputes, licensing and registration issues, copyright and other intellectual property rights and various other legal issues that arise in the practice of architecture and engineering. We also provide numerous seminars and other education programs to assist design professionals in risk management. Greg Wheeler represented design professionals in Atlanta, Georgia for more than 22 years before returning to South Dakota to continue his practice. Michael Tobin and Paul Tschetter have been handling construction claims for more than 14 and 8 years, respectively. The Boyce Construction Group is prepared to help design professionals as they face the legal challenges of today’s construction industry.

The history of Boyce Law Firm dates back to 1878, when founder Frank L. Boyce established the city’s first law firm in downtown Sioux Falls. As the city grew, our firm also grew to meet the changing needs of our clients. Over the years, we have served many of the city’s largest and most successful businesses. Those relationships and our long-standing history give us the insight, expertise and experience you want from a law firm.
Boyce Law Firm has experienced litigation and business lawyers who provide our clients with representation in all types of litigation and in commercial and business transactions. We have a long history of appearances in the South Dakota courts and before administrative agencies. We currently have nineteen attorneys with five certified paralegals and a full support staff with state of the art office technology.
The offices are located in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls within walking distance to the federal and state courthouses. We are committed to serving not only our clients, but our local community and the State Bar of South Dakota.
