Michael E. Catania, Esq., (Michael) is one of the firm’s Managing Partners as well as the head of CM&R’s Construction and Design Practice Group. He represents design professionals, developers, and contractors throughout the Hudson Valley. Michael has an intimate knowledge of standard design contracts and is a frequent lecturer to trade organizations and local design firms on such topics as AIA versus ConsensusDocs agreements, Owner contract revisions and their impact, and dispute resolution. Michael further employs his extensive trial background in insurance defense litigation to effectively defend Design Professionals against malpractice and general liability claims.
