Mr. Koenig’s expertise is focused on construction law and design professional liability. He has extensive experience in meeting the special needs of design professionals.
Mr. Koenig’s forte is negotiating, reviewing and drafting client contracts, transactional matters and resolving complex construction, real estate and business disputes. He is legal counsel to several of the leading companies in Southern California, including A&E firms, and is approved panel counsel by numerous insurance companies.
Mr. Koenig’s excellent superior court jury trial record and his familiarity with the local bench, mediators and bar, facilitates the expedient and economical resolution of disputes. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has successfully tried and won 12 cases in the last five years.
Mr. Koenig gained valuable experience working with his father, internationally recognized architect Pierre Koenig, who designed the iconic Case Study Houses No. 21 and 22.
