David Matthews has been practicing law for 40 years. He is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, American Board of Trial Advocates and Arkansas Defense Counsel. He has defended local architects and engineers in over 25 cases since 2001. Scott Tidwell has been practicing law over 8 years and has done A/E defense work for 2 years. Cole Truitt has been in practice for 2 years and has assisted in A/E defense work the entire time. Matthews represents a local A/E firm for all its legal needs and regularly attends its board meetings, annual retreats, and shareholder meetings for the last 6 years.

It is a 2016 Top Ranked Law Firm by Martindale-Hubbell. The firm began as a solo practice in Lowell, Arkansas in March, 1976. From 1982 until 1989, the firm maintained offices in both Lowell and Rogers, Arkansas. In 1989, the firm consolidated the two offices into its present location at 119 South Second Street in historic downtown Rogers.
