Jonathan Rizzardi has been licensed to practice law in California since 2006, and in Arizona since 2011.   Rizzardi Law is dedicated to the representation of licensed professionals in the design and real estate industries. Prior to forming Rizzardi Law, he worked for 15 years at San Francisco law firms, representing design professionals as well as other professional licensees.  He has significant experience both defending design professionals in litigation, and representing design professionals in connection with business formation and corporate governance, contracts, risk management, and other matters.  He also provides outside general counsel services, for businesses that do not have an attorney on staff.

Firm Information

Founder Jonathan Rizzardi draws on nearly two decades of experience counseling individual professionals and businesses on matters ranging from entity formation and corporate governance to contracts, licensing issues, and dispute resolution.  His background handling litigation through trial and appeal informs his practice emphasis on front end risk management through the use of corporate planning, insurance, and contracts.  Jonathan has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer, and frequently presents to professional organizations on best practices relating to business formation, professional licensing, and contracts.  He is licensed to practice law in California and Arizona.  Jonathan graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program in the Humanities at the University of San Francisco, and from the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University.  In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, coaching his daughter’s soccer teams, and hiking with his family.
