The AIA Trust Component Grant Program supports state and local AIA components in launching new initiatives—or meaningfully enhancing existing programs—that foster leadership, advance management education, and strengthen professional practice.

With the support of Victor Insurance Managers, partner-provider of the AIA Trust Professional Liability, Business Owners, and Cyber Liability Insurance Programs, the AIA Trust Component Grant Program has awarded more than $350,000 directly to AIA components—supporting programs that strengthen leadership, practice management, and professional practice nationwide.
What the Component Grant Program Supports
The AIA Trust Component Grant Program helps state and local AIA components launch new initiatives or meaningfully enhance existing programs that:
- Build leadership and management capacity
- Support the business side of architectural practice
- Deliver long-term value to members and local architecture communities
Now Accepting Applications
The Component Grant Program is open to AIA state and local components of all sizes. Applications are submitted electronically and limited to three pages, making it easy to share your idea and demonstrate its impact.
Application timeline:
- Submissions: accepted beginning January 14, 2026.
- Deadline: close of business on Monday, April 13, 2026.
- Notifications: by Friday, May 15, 2026.
